About
Hey, I'm Marco, a father, husband, and designer with 20+ years of experience helping teams design better products, services, and user experiences across fintech, startups, and global organizations.
Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, I moved to Ireland in 2011 for what was meant to be a short English exchange — and never left. I've been working in design since my first year of college, evolving from visual design into product design, systems thinking, and experience strategy over the years.
My journey began with a love for drawing, graffiti, and visual expression, which eventually evolved into digital design and later into UX and product leadership. Today, I lead the UX Design and Research team at BNP Paribas Securities Services, staying close to both strategy and hands-on design. I focus on simplifying complex systems, improving product experiences, and exploring how AI-assisted workflows and emerging tools are reshaping the way we design and build products.
